Share a stretch of possible days, let everyone tap the days they're free, and see which dates work for the most people. No account needed to join.
Everyone agrees the trip is a great idea. Then someone asks "so when?" and the chat splits into work schedules, kids' school calendars, weddings, and a friend who can't commit until their manager approves time off. Unlike a dinner, a trip needs several days in a row to work for several people at once, and trying to hold all of that in a scrolling chat is how trips quietly never happen.
Commonhour scores each day on its own. There's no way to vote on a block of days as a single option, and booking creates an all-day event for one day. For a long weekend, look for the run of days near the top of the list, book the first one, and extend the event to the last day in your calendar. It also doesn't handle flights, lodging or splitting costs; it's just for landing on dates.
Can people pick a range of days, like Friday to Sunday?
Each day is marked on its own, so people tap every day they're free. The ranked list shows how many people can make each day, which makes it easy to spot a stretch of days that works for most of the group.
Can I book a multi-day trip as one calendar event?
Not yet. When you book, Commonhour creates an all-day calendar event for one day. For a longer trip, book the first day and stretch the event to the last day in your calendar app.
How far ahead can I plan?
You can add up to 60 dates to one plan, from any point in the future. Pick them one by one or use the date range option to add a whole stretch at once.
Does everyone need an account?
No. Friends just open the link and tap the days they're free. Without an account a plan takes up to 12 responses; if your group is bigger, a free account removes the limit.
