How it works

Three steps, from "when are we free?" to an invite on everyone's calendar.

  1. Lay out your times

Pick a few dates or a whole range, and the hours you could meet. Planning a trip? Make it an all-day plan.

  2. Share one link

Text it, post it in the group chat, or send email invites from Commonhour. Nobody needs an account to respond.

  3. Book it

See the best times ranked by who can make it, then send the calendar invite in two clicks.

Free means free

The calendar invite is included. Always.

Other tools save the calendar invite for paying customers. Commonhour gives it to everyone, no exceptions.

Do I need an account?

No. Anyone can create a plan or respond to one without an account. A free account is optional: it saves your plan history and raises the limit to 20 responses on plans you create.

Is it really free?

Yes. Creating plans, responding, and generating calendar invites for Google Calendar, Outlook, or an .ics file are all free, with no ads. The calendar invite is free on every plan and will stay that way.

How many people can respond to a plan?

Plans created without an account take up to 12 responses. Plans created while signed in to a free Planner account take up to 20 responses, and Organizer (coming soon) takes up to 100.

Does it work across time zones?

Yes. Commonhour detects each person's time zone and converts the plan's times for them, with a manual override if you want to see times in a different zone.

How long do plans stay around?

A booked plan is deleted 10 days after the booked date. A plan that's never booked is deleted 30 days after its last candidate date. The organizer can also delete a plan at any time.

How is Commonhour different from When2Meet?

When2Meet is free and needs no account, like Commonhour, but it doesn't generate calendar invites or offer organizer tools. Commonhour adds a ranked best time, free calendar invites, and optional plan history on top of the same no-account simplicity.

Stop the "what works for everyone?" thread.

Why Commonhour exists

Bringing people together, on purpose.

I built Commonhour because I believe people coming together for the right reasons helps make the world better, and the logistics of finding a time shouldn't be what stops that from happening. That's why the core of it, propose times, respond, get the invite, stays free, zero ads, and built to actually finish the job, on purpose.
