Offer a few practice, meeting or party times, share one link, and see which one works for the most players and parents. No account needed to respond.
Season schedules are handled by the league. It's everything in between that lands on the coach or captain: a first practice, a make-up game, a team dinner, a meeting with the parents. Players have school, jobs and other teams. Parents are juggling rides and siblings. A "does Thursday work?" message gets three thumbs-up and eleven replies of silence, and the time never quite gets settled.
Commonhour isn't a team-management app. It doesn't hold rosters, game schedules, standings or payments, and it doesn't take attendance. Booking creates a single calendar event; if you want it to repeat, set that up in your own calendar app. Use your league or team app for the season, and use Commonhour for the one-off "when can we all meet?" Without an account a plan takes up to 12 responses, so a bigger team will want the organizer signed in.
Does everyone on the team need an account?
No. Players and parents open the link and tap the times they're free. Only the person organizing needs to sign in to send email invitations and manage the plan.
What if my team has more than 12 people?
Without an account a plan takes up to 12 responses. A roster plus parents can pass that, so sign in with a free account to go past it. For a youth team, asking one parent per family to answer also keeps the count down.
Can I schedule a weekly practice that repeats?
Not as a series. Commonhour is built for one-off scheduling: each plan finds one time, and booking creates a single calendar event. If you want it to repeat, set that up in your own calendar app after you book. It works well for a first practice, a make-up game or a team meeting, but it isn't a season-long schedule.
Is the calendar invite free?
Yes. Sending the calendar invite is free, with Google Calendar, Outlook or an .ics file, and everyone who said they're free is already added as a guest.
